Wat Phou Heritage Boat Tour

GDL-Champassak-4000-islands-1-21Champassak is well-known to be the home of Wat Phou - a UNESCO Heritage Site. Wat Phou is a ruined Khmer temple in Southern Laos with its history dating back to the 5th century. The temple that has a unique structure is the centre of Theravada Buddhism worship of today.

Approximately: 2 hours boating, 1 hour transfer & 2 hours sightseeing

Day 1: Pakse > Wat Phou Ngoy > Wat Phou > Pakse

2-days-Mekong-Wat-Phou-Champassak-Experience-1we leave from our office at 8:30 am and taking a longtail boat for this full day sightseeing tour. 

On the way we stop to visit Wat Phou Ngoy overlooking the Mekong.

After that, we continue to enjoy seeing local life along the Mekong River before we have lunch at Champassak. After lunch, we visit UNESCO's world Heritage site of Wat Phou. After visiting the site, we will return back to Pakse.
